Respecting the right of others to be different shows maturity and understanding of the human condition. Yes, we are so much alike in so many ways, yet we are individuals with our own unique experiences. How can you expect them to respect you if you don't respect others?

People will always have their own opinions, and that's okay. Get comfortable with what is different. The world is an amazing place and what we can do to make it better is to show acceptance, tolerance, and respect to everyone we meet.
