Are you the same person you were 10 years ago? Would you agree that one's past should not be the sole basis by which they are judged? 

Even though we don't want to judge other people, sometimes we do.  Are we basing our opinion on who they were and not who they are today?

Mr. Ziglar's quote encourages empathy and understanding, recognizing that people evolve and should not be defined solely by their past actions.
