To me, Christmas is a feeling, a season and a reason to look forward with hope.

Whatever happened yesterday or in the past, cannot be changed. Don't judge it too harshly or focus on it anymore.

The present, , is where you really live. Be courageous each day as you head out the door. This is your life; make the most of it starting today.

Be hopeful about the future. It's easy to get caught up in the news, blues, drama and trauma that seems to be making headlines. Look at what you can do to make your life, your family's life, your community's life better.

It's the week before Christmas, and I choose to be Merry and Bright.
