Why do we take pictures? To have a visual history of a moment in time. It's wonderful to go through a box of old pictures remembering the events and places; the special people and animals that were or are part of our life. Maybe we just take pictures of other things for other reasons. All the pictures are history; they aren't today's present moment because everything changes too quickly.

Look at your phone and see all the pictures you took? Some were amazing, some were good and some just okay. You keep taking them because you are keeping a record of what brought you joy, pain, hope, love and a variety of different emotions. The visuals help us to tell the story of our lives.

Don't stop your story from moving forward by staying stuck in the past. Keep creating new memories, with new people, new adventures with old friends, and memories that are burnt into your heart that no picture could ever capture.
